Vermin trap recorded by Brewer 1986

Newman, P., 2001, Headland Warren Part 3: The Warren, 9-10, Figure 2 (Report - Survey). SDV359913.

(27/07/2001) Vermin trap at Headland Warren to the west of the farmhouse. It is sited in a gully on the exterior of an enclosure wall to the west of Headland Warren house. The capstone and funnel walls survive in situ.

Ridgers, H. + Ridgers, C., 2015, Of Varments and Vermin Traps, 17 (Report - Assessment). SDV358632.

This vermin trap at Headland Warren (SX69109 810) is not mentioned by Haynes or Cook but authors mention Dave Brewer (although do not specify a title) recording concise details. It is noted to have suffered much vandalism since Brewer's description was recorded. The three metre wall are covered in moss and grass and are virtually invisible. None of the trap stones are present - the backstone containing the hole is still in situ. The mechanism appears very similar to MDV3388 at Ditsworthy Warren.
