Summary

An earthwork mound was visible on aerial photographs of 1966 as an earthwork on the gentle west facing slopes to the south-east of Three Elms Cross, Clyst St. Lawrence. The mound might be the remains of a barrow of Bronze Age date.

A pale circular cropmark of a possible levelled mound was visible.

A pale circular feature was visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of 1966 to the north of Great Barton Farm. Situated on the south-west facing slopes of a very gentle combe, the cropmark measures approximately 10 metres in diameter and might be evidence of the levelled remains of a barrow of Bronze Age date.
