Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A pale curvilinear cropmark with a dark border, circa 3 metres wide and aligned roughly south-west to north-east, is visible on aerial photographs taken in the summer of 1979. It abuts a similar cropmark, which corresponds to a field boundary depicted on the late-19th century mapping. The cropmark is therefore interpreted as having formed over a field boundary that went out of use prior to this date, likely to be of post-medieval or perhaps medieval origin. The Tithe Map for this area appears to have been damaged, so it is not clear whether there was a functioning boundary here in the mid-19th century.
