Parallel linear earthwork banks, covering 85 by 15 metres and circa 3.5 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken between 1946 and 1948. Their location corresponds to a small field west of Higher Brenton within which orchard trees are depicted on the late-19th century maps. The earthworks are aligned broadly cross-contour, and are interpreted as tree planting banks of post-medieval or early-19th century date. No earthworks were visible on available aerial photographs taken after the 1940s, and the site has since been developed.
