Parallel linear earthwork banks, covering less than half a hectare and circa 4 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured in 2005. Their location corresponds to a small field south-east of Kennford within which orchard trees are depicted on the Tithe map, although no trees are visible on aerial photographs taken in 2010. The earthworks are aligned broadly cross-contour, and are interpreted as tree planting banks of post-medieval or early-19th century date.
