Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

Parallel linear earthwork banks, covering less than a hectare and circa 4 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947, although obscured by the tree canopy, and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2012. Their location corresponds to a field within which orchard trees are depicted on the Tithe map, which appears to have been a functioning orchard in 1947. The earthworks are aligned broadly cross-contour, and are interpreted as tree planting banks of post-medieval or early-19th century date.
