Disused rifle range marked on Ordnance Survey 1956/19611:10560 map (SY 0385/0485), including butts, 100, 300 and 500-yard markers (see sites 64, 66, 73) (associated with World War Two camp to south, see site 69). Extends from 500 yard marker at 03876 85455 in north-northeast direction to butts at SY 0403 8591. At SY 03940 85666 is a brick-lined trench aligned east-west, which appears to represent the 300 yard marker depicted on the Ordnance Survey 1961 map. The trench measures 17 metres long (externally) by 1.1 metres wide (internally), with entrance gap 1.35 metres wide on north side. Trench is terraced into north facing hill slope, area to north of trench built up slightly; 17 brick steps lead northward downslope from entrance. Area covered in patchy gorse and low grass.

Brick-lined trench aligned east-west which appears to represent the 300 yard marked of a disused rifle range marker on Ordnance Survey 1956/1961 1:1:10560 map. The trench measures 17 metres long by 1.1 metres wide with an entrance gap 1.35 metres wide on the north side. Trench is terraced into north facing hill slope, area to north of trench built up slightly; 17 brick steps lead northward down slope from entrance. Area covered in patchy gorse and low grass. Range associated with a World War Two camp to south.

Rifle range crossed by public footpath. Avoid damage during vegetation clearance. Good candidate for interpretation together with other associated markers and butts.
