Summary

Cairn measures 24 metres in diameter, located on the southern end of the Buckland Common Ridge. Although the cairn is low, it does not appear to have been extensively robbed of stone.

Roughly circular feature visible on the aerial photographs.

Probable round cairn at SX73739 73009. Cairn measures 24 metres in diameter, located on the southern end of the Buckland Common Ridge, before the land falls away south-west to the enclosures around Ashburton. Although the cairn is low, it does not appear to have been extensively robbed of stone. Condition stable.

(29/08/2020) Not easy to locate this feature due to vegetation in area Heavy gorse inundation (90% of site) but otherwise appears stable. Due to total gorse cover for a large area around this cairn, there is a danger of it becoming totally inundated.
