A possible former field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as an earthwork ditch on Lidar-derived images of 2005, at Halfyards. The curvilinear earthwork is northeast to southwest aligned and broadly respects the historic field patterns depicted on the parish tithe map of approximately 1838-48, although appears to have passed out of use by this time. A similarly aligned earthwork ditch is also visible to the immediate northwest, although since it is depicted on the tithe map was not transcribed as part of this survey. The earthwork ditch was not clearly visible on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to the survey.
