Earthwork banks of probable post-medieval to modern date are visible on aerial photographs of 1946 onwards, to the northeast of Rosamondford Farm. The earthworks are north to south aligned and occupy an area of approximately 0.54 hectares of gentle southwest facing slope. The nature of the earthwork banks is uncertain, although it is possible they represent evidence of 18th-19th century cultivation, or perhaps more likely evidence of the site of a former orchard, the fruit trees being established on the earthwork banks for improved soil depth and drainage. The earthworks remain visible on aerial photographs up until 1963, although their survival after this date is unclear and may have been completely levelled.
