Two earthwork pits representing possible post-medieval to modern extraction pits or possible spring-head are visible as earthwork pits on aerial photographs of 1963 onwards, to the northwest of Rosamondford Farm. The sub-oval to irregular shaped earthworks both measure approximately 25m in length by 17m in width and remain visible on Lidar-derived images of 2005. The nature of the two adjacent features is, however, uncertain and may be of natural origin, such as two spring-heads flowing into the stream to the immediate west.
