An extraction pit of probable post-medieval to modern date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1963 and 1966, to the west of New Ford Farm. The small oval shaped earthwork measures approximately 16.5m in length by 12.5m in width and is not visible on aerial photographs after 1966.
