An earthwork bank up to 9 metres wide and apparently forming the south and east sides of a level terrace, is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2012. The part aligned east to west is depicted on the OS second edition mapping, and the north to south aligned section corresponds to a line of trees depicted on the same map, suggesting that the feature is post-medieval or 19th century in date. It is probably associated with designed landscape around Trood House.
