Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A linear earthwork bank or fence, circa 2.5 metres in width and 70 metres long, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2005, orientated downslope with a change of alignment partway along within Pridham’s Wood. It may be the remains of a wood bank in an area that is depicted as woodland on the Tithe Map and the late-19th century OS map, or perhaps a former field boundary that predated this area of woodland. The area is obscured by tree cover on the available aerial photographs, so interpretation is tentative.
