Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

Two curvilinear ditches, up to circa 10 metres wide and 21 metres apart, are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured in 2007. The ground surface is obscured by orchard tree cover in the available aerial photographs. No boundaries are depicted in this location on the available historic maps, although the earthworks are parallel to an extant boundary 21 metres to the north. Their orientation and form is typical of medieval boundaries based on strip fields, and they are therefore interpreted as the remains of medieval field boundaries removed prior to the mid-19th century.
