Summary
A pale oval cropmark, visible on aerial photographs taken between 1984 and 1992, appears to overlie a probable medieval field boundary, and may have formed over an area disturbed during road improvements along the A30.

A pale oval cropmark, circa 50 by 100 metres, is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1984 and 1992. Its edges are very clearly defined and it appears to partially obscure the cropmark of a probable medieval field boundary that is depicted on the Tithe Map. It may have formed over an area of compaction or groundworks associated with the improvement of the A30 in the 1970s.
