Parallel linear earthwork banks, covering approximately a quarter of a hectare and circa 4 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. Their location corresponds to a small field east of Alphington within which orchard trees are depicted on the late-19th and early-20th century maps. The earthworks are aligned broadly cross-contour, and are interpreted as tree planting banks. No trees are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 when the parcel appears to have been used for pasture. The area has since been developed and no remains are likely to survive.
