Farmstead dates to at least the early-mid 19th century, based on cartographic evidence. Disturbed by the building of the A38 and built over by large modern farm structures in the later 20th-early 21st centuries. Little appears to remain of the 19th century farm.

Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
Depicted on the Tithe Map, this holding is described as 'Pearces Estate'. House and courtlage, with gardens, stables, orchards etc.
