Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

The Tithe Map shows only two small rectangular buildings near the pond here which are listed as farm buildings in the apportionment; part of Lukesland.


Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

By the late 19th century, there have been a number of cottages and associated buildings here; these may have housed workers on the estate.

The early 19th century historic map largely matches the late 19th century version, except for one or two new additions.
