Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A narrow linear earthwork, less than 2 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1946 and 1963. It is parallel to field boundaries depicted on the available historic mapping and possibly contiguous with one depicted to the south, but is not itself depicted on the mapping. It is therefore interpreted as the remains of a field boundary of probable medieval or post-medieval date that became disused by the mid-19th century. The area has since been developed and remains are unlikely to survive.
