A geophysical survey was undertaken of a proposed 13km water main between Roborough and Houndall, near Plymouth, Devon. Several sites of archaeological interest were detected.
Linear features were recorded in Areas B2 and B3 and also a cluster of pit-like anomalies which is of possible archaeological interest, although nearby amorphous responses to the north and south are probably geological in origin.

Ordnance Survey, 2015, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV357601.

A removed field boundary [1153] was recorded in Area B2. The feature, comprising a linear band of natural, 1.9m wide and 0.13m high, had been previously recorded by geophysical survey. No associated ditches were observed.
A large area of dumped elvan stone blocks (1156) was also identified at the northern end of Area B3 which may indicate a former building in the vicinity. The associated finds were all 20th century.
