Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
Merrifield Farm is depicted on the Tithe Map; 776 on the South Brent apportionment ('Dwelling house, other buildings, yard and c.'). House is located at the south-eastern corner of the farm, with farm buildings to the west and north-west.

Much the same as the Tithe Map, the late 19th century historic map depiction of Merrifield shows the farm has some new enclosed areas set behind the farmhouse and farm buildings and the yard appears better enclosed than previously shown.
