Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Farmstead shown on 19th century Tithe Map as a group of six buildings in and around an irregular shaped yard. There is no curvilinear boundary on the east side of the yard. The Apportionment for 'Dockhill' lists Field Number 116 as 'Dwelling house other Buildings yard & c' and Field Number 117 as 'Garden'.

Dockwell shown on 19th century map as a group of buildings around the west and south-west sides of an irregular shaped yard which respects the boundary of a former enclosure to the east.
