The late 19th century historic map depiction of Lower Beara is much the same as the Tithe Map, although it is not clear whether the building adjoining the farm is still in existence.
Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.
Same as the late 19th century historic map.
White, P., 2013, Previously Unsurveyed Dartmoor Historic Farmsteads (Un-published). SDV352501.
Lower Beara included on list. No further information provided.
Ordnance Survey, 2015, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV357601.
Modern map shows the farm now surrounded with a number of modern properties. The farmhouse is long gone and a late 20th century modern store / shed has been built over the site of the farmhouse. It appears that the building south of the road has been used as a dwelling following the demolition of the old farmhouse.
