Summary

A ring ditch of probable Bronze Age to Roman date was visible on aerial photographs as a cropmark overlooking the Exe Valley east of Burrow Farm, Rewe. The ring ditch might be evidence for a small barrow of Bronze Age date or a round house of Iron Age to Roman date.

A ring ditch of probable Bronze Age to Roman date was visible on aerial photographs as a cropmark overlooking the Exe Valley east of Burrow Farm, Rewe.
The cropmark is between 0.5 and 1 metres wide and encloses a circular area approximately 5 metres in diameter. This ring ditch is part of a possible group of five or six visible in this area, and was originally recorded under record MDV79049 as a larger cropmark circa 14 metres to the west.
The ring ditch might be evidence for a small barrow of Bronze Age date or a round house of Iron Age to Roman date.
