A linear cropmark which has possibly formed over an infilled ditch of uncertain date is visible on specialist oblique aerial photographs of 1984 and 1989, to the south of Old Rydon Lane. The cropmark is northwest to southeast aligned and may form part of a relict field boundary of potential prehistoric-Romano-British or be of later, medieval or post-medieval date. The cropmark ditch is located in an area where numerous other such linear cropmarks and possible enclosures have been identified.
