Cropmarks which have formed over infilled ditches of possible prehistoric to Romano-British date are visible on specialist oblique aerial photographs of 1984 and 1989, to the south of Old Rydon Lane. The T-Shaped cropmarks are broadly north to south and east to west aligned and appear to have been truncated to both the north and west by construction of the M5 motorway. The cropmarks may form part of a prehistoric or Romano-British enclosure or field system, or equally may be of later, medieval or post-medieval date. The cropmarks are situated in an area where numerous other such features have been identified.
