Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 6 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1969. Their location corresponds to a field within which orchard trees are depicted on the late-19th century OS maps. The earthworks are aligned obliquely to the contour, and are interpreted as tree planting banks or terraces, of probable post-medieval or 19th century date, that went out of use by the mid-20th century.
