The former earthwork pit has been largely levelled, although is visible as a vegetation mark.

An earthwork pit of a possible post-medieval to modern extraction pit or Second World War feature, such as a bomb crater, is visible on aerial photographs of 1945 and 1946, off Honiton Road, Exeter. The sub-circular earthwork, which measures approximately 7.5m in diameter, appears to have been levelled on aerial photographs of 1955, although remains visible as a vegetation mark. By 1963 the site has been completely developed for residential housing and below ground survival of the former earthwork is uncertain.
