Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 3.5 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and only indistinctly by 1947. The earthworks are aligned cross-contour, and are interpreted as tree planting banks, of probable post-medieval or 19th century date. No orchard is depicted here on the available historic mapping, although nearby orchards are depicted (e.g. MDV113402), and any orchard here presumably went out of use by the late-19th century. They are not visible on later available imagery and may have been levelled.
