Irregular earthworks visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 resemble the form of two house platforms, circa 14 metres in width, and a linear bank to the south-west. Nearby Postlake Farm is recorded from the 13th century by Gover et al (1932), and it is possible that they could be the remains of a medieval settlement and small infield boundaries. However they are sited next to a watercourse in a valley close to irregular ground that appears to have been shaped by water action, and it is possible that they are of natural origin.
