Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 3.5 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1969 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. The earthworks are aligned cross-contour, and are interpreted as tree planting banks of probable post-medieval or 19th century date. No orchard trees were depicted in this location on the available historic mapping, suggesting that the orchard was disused by the end of the 19th century.
