Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

Two parallel slightly curvilinear earthwork ditches, up to 10 metres in width and circa 50 metres apart, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. In appearance they are similar to nearby features that correspond to the location of field boundaries depicted on the Tithe map, but which had been removed by the late-19th century. They fit into the overall field system visible on the Tithe mapping which is characterised as of medieval origin, and are interpreted as the remains of medieval or post-medieval boundaries that fell out of use by the mid-19th century.
