Parallel linear banks, visible as earthworks onimages derived from lidar data captured betweeen 1998 and 2014, are tentatively interpreted as post-medieval or 19th century tree planting banks. If so, they probably became disused by the late-19th century.

Parallel linear banks, circa 4 metres wide, are visible as earthworks on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. They are similar in appearance to orchard banks in the wider area, also with a cross-contour alignment. As no orchard trees are depicted in this location on the late-19th century mapping, it is likely that they became disused by this date, and may be post-medieval or early-19th century in origin.
