Parallel linear banks, circa 3.5 metres wide, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken between 1969 and 1979. Their location corresponds to a field depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping and they are interpreted as tree planting banks of probable post-medieval or 19th century date. Orchard trees seem to have survived here until 1979, but they appear to have been removed since. Similarly, the earthworks are not clearly visible on later available imagery, and may have been levelled.
