Parallel linear banks, circa 4 metres wide, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and just visible on images derived from lidar captured between 1998 and 2014. Their location corresponds to a field depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping and they are interpreted as tree planting banks of probable post-medieval or 19th century date. The orchard appears to have fallen out of use in the second part of the 20th century.
