Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 4.5 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on images derived from lidar captured between 1998 and 2014. They resemble post-medieval or 19th century orchard banks in form, although the areas are not depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping, and it is possible that they resulted from drainage works.
