Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 4.5 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken between 1946 and 1969. They are aligned roughly cross-contour and correspond to a field depicted as orchard on the late-19th century OS maps. They are interpreted as post-medieval or 19th century orchard banks. Trees were still present in 1969, but have been removed since then, and the earthworks may have been levelled.
