A curvilinear earthwork ditch, up to 3.5 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1946 and 1999. At its western end it appears to join or continue from a similar earthwork feature which corresponds to a field boundary depicted on the Tithe map. It is interpreted as the remains of a field boundary of medieval or post-medieval origin that went out of use by the mid-19th century. A mature tree along the line of the boundary appears to survive and may have originally been a hedgerow tree.
