Possible former field boundaries of potential medieval to post-medieval date are visible as earthwork ditches on aerial photographs of 1945 onwards, at Brookhayes. The three parallel linear earthworks are northwest to southeast aligned and closely respect the historic field patterns depicted on the Parish Tithe Map of medieval enclosures based on strip fields, although the boundaries appear to have passed out of use by this time. The earthworks remain visible on Lidar-derived images of 1998 and 2005.
