Summary

Manor Farm was formerly called West Stockey, becoming known as Manor Farm in the later 20th century. The farmstead which is depicted on the 19th century Tithe Map appears to have contracted in the later 19th century and expanded again in the mid 20th.

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Recorded as West Stockhay comprising a loose grouping of four buildings with orchards to the north-east and south.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

West Stockey marked. Comparison with the Tithe Map shows the farmstead to have shrunk considerably in size and the orchards to have gone.
