Cropmarks which have possibly formed over infilled ditches of a potential prehistoric ring ditch are visible on aerial photographs of 1984, to the northeast of Ash Bungalow. The possible ring ditch is fairly poorly defined but is visible as a series of partial curvilinear cropmark sections which appear to be double-ditched in form. The approximate diameter of the outer ring ditch measures approximately 16m and the inner ring ditch approximately 9m and is sited on gentle east facing slope, approximately 160m to the north of Pin Brook prehistoric enclosure. Given both the poor clarity and definition of the cropmarks, however, some caution should be exercised and it is possible the cropmarks have been formed from modern agricultural activity. Further survey work, such as geophysical survey may help to establish the nature of these cropmarks. They are not visible on other aerial photographs made available to the survey.
