Richard Sims, 2015-2016, Marshwood Vale National Mapping Programme (NMP) project (Interpretation). SDV359291.

Earthwork banks of possible former field boundaries of potential medieval to post-medieval date are visible on Lidar-derived images of between 1998-2014, to the south of Valley View Farm. The longer of the two earthworks is broadly north to south aligned, with a second, shorter northeast to southwest aligned stub located at its southern extent. The earthworks appear to be contiguous with two historic field boundaries located to the south, although it is unclear which of the earthworks is associated with these. The earthworks are not clearly visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
