Bampton, J. + Morris, B., 15/06/2015, Land off Muxbeare Lane, Willand (Report - Evaluation). SDV359294.
Desk-based assessment and evaluation undertaken in advance of a proposed development.
The range of finds – mainly white refined earthenwares and South Somerset material – is unsurprising given the proximity of post-medieval occupation to the site. The recovery of some 17th century tinglazed material points to aspirations of status.
