Richard Sims, 2015-2016, Marshwood Vale National Mapping Programme (NMP) project (Interpretation). SDV359291.

Possible former field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval date are visible as an earthwork banked feature on aerial photographs of 1948 onwards, to the north of Beavor Grange. The contiguous former field boundaries comprise two staggered linear north to south aligned earthworks which are connected by a single, shorter east to west aligned bank. It is unclear if these possible boundaries were extant at the time of the Axminster Parish Tithe Map of approximately 1838-48, as this area appears to be un-surveyed. A number of similar earthwork banked features of possible former field boundaries and/or lynchets have been recorded in close proximity to the north. The earthworks remain clearly visible on Lidar-derived images of between 1998-2014.
