Ensworthy (or Moortown) Cottage, a farm workers cottage attached to Moortown farm appears to have been built in the late 18th century. Little is known of the occupants before 1860, but it is likely they would have been employed at Moortown Farm. In the mid-20th century, the cottage was rented out for a while as the family at Moortown had no workers on the farm but by the 1950s it reverted to being a tied cottage.

Ordnance Survey, 2016, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV359352.

Depicted on the modern mapping.
