Summary
Curvilinear gully recorded during excavations undertaken as part of a programme of archaeological works along the route of a gas pipeline. No dating evidence was recovered from the section excavated but it may represent a small prehistoric enclosure or a ring gully.

Site 9. New Nutwalls, Aylesbeare. Part of a curvilinear gully (0.03.004) extending southwards from the eastern end of the excavation area. It was 0.9 metres wide and 0.07 metres deep with a symmetrical profile. No dating evidence was recovered but it may represent a small prehistoric enclosure or ring gully. Circular crop marks have also been recorded in the adjacent field.
