A post-medieval structure is visible on aerial photographs of 1947, within Lifton Quarry.

A rectangular shaped structure associated with Lifton Quarry which measures approximately 22m in length by 8m in width, with possible central partition across its width. The structure lies in close proximity to a range of other industrial features and structures, for example limekilns. These have been recorded as separate monuments, but associated with Lifton Quarry.
