'Rectory' is depicted on the early 20th century historic map (not shown on the late 19th century version) to the south of Chagford House.

Rice, I., 2002, The Book of Chagford. A Town Apart, 79 (Monograph). SDV356605.

In 1887, the Stones, a family of local builders built the new rectory at the foot of Nattadon Hill, a little above and behind Chagford House. The rectory abutted a large area of glebe land, traditionally let as church allotments. The modest modern rectory (1972) occupies a corner of the garden belonging to the Victorian building, now known as Nattadon House. After a period of time as a hotel, this is now a private residence

Ordnance Survey, 2016, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV359352.

Shown on the modern mapping as 'Bly House', with the modern rectory just to the north.
