Summary

A field system of likely medieval to post-medieval date is visible as two linear cropmark banks on aerial photographs, at Longacres Cottages. The cropmarks were recorded as part of the Tamar Valley NMP project.

The southern of the two field boundaries is possibly depicted on this map.

Linear cropmarks which have formed over levelled banks are interpreted as a field system of unknown, but potential, medieval date.

The field boundaries are perhaps equally likely to be of post-medieval date and the southern of the two is possibly depicted on the Parish Tithe Map. Only part of the photo reference is given in the transcription attributes, so the date of the photograph is not known.
